Adele and Herbert J. Klapper Center for Fine Arts
The Adele and Herbert J. Klapper Center for Fine Arts, located at the south end of campus, is a vital center of art activity. Gaining its namesake in November 2007, the center honors Ms. Klapper ’92, M.A. ’99, and her contributions to Adelphi. The 7,000-square foot fine arts building contains printmaking, sculpture, jewelry and ceramic studios.
The center’s original location was on the third floor of Blodgett Hall, which houses art history, foundation studies, graphic design, digital lab and photography. It features state of the art digital graphics design studio, expanded drawing studios and art faculty offices.
